A Soviet Pilot ejected from his plane by mistake. The plane flew for 45 minutes until it ran out of fuel!

The pilot, thinking that the engine was failing and that his life was in danger, ejected out of the plane safely, and landed in the countryside pretty much unharmed. The plane, however, stayed in the sky for close to 45 minutes without a pilot.
In 1989, Soviet MIG-23 fighter pilot was flying around the skies in Western Europe was doing some training, when all of the sudden there was a mechanical problem with the plane.
The plane first appeared on Belgian radars at 9:42 A.M. And dropped off the radar at 10:37, after the plane crashed into a farm house near the French and Belgian border, because the plane had ran out of fuel.
The man in the farm house was killed on impact by the plane, as he sat waiting for his parents to return from a shopping trip.
American pilots are noted to have seen the Soviet plane, but they were unaware that there wasn't a pilot in the plane.
The American troops didn't see the plane as a threat, although it was flying through a controlled airspace, because the plane was only travelling at 450 miles per hour - a speed that fighter jets would not have flown at.
